Keiken Illustrations

Officially, Keiken Illustrations began in 1997. It is owned and operated by, pretty much, just one person. Me. K. Roberts (pictured ages ago). I started the business after I had been commissioned to do a variety of art projects, including murals and book illustrations. Before I started college, I had already won first place in a national and first place in an international art contest at the age of 17 (my, my, where has all of the time gone?). Since starting my own business, I have completed even more murals, done some graphic designs for businesses, had an art show or two, and even painted on cars. I also teach art -- currently, at Solstice Winds in Cookeville, Tennessee. This website is the latest incarnation of the business. The site began operating in fall of 2002. Currently, Keiken Illustrations is operating out of a small town named Sparta in Tennessee, between Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville, U.S.A.
